For the first blog competition of the year I will be following the guidelines set by Darren Rowse in his post How to run a successful competition on your blog. I’m sure it will work because when it comes to Blogging, Darren is the ProBlogger.
What is the competition?
The completion is very simple. Write a post with any blogging tip you would like to share with other bloggers. You could write about one tip or as many as you want.
How do I enter the competition?
3 Easy steps to enter the competition
1. Write your post with your blogging Tip(s) on your blog.
2. Link back to this post somewhere in your post.
3. Send an email to competitions [at] successforyourblog.com (only used to contact you when you win) and include the link to your post.
When is the deadline?
All entries must be completed by February 10th, 2008 (Because thats my birthday). Then I will announce the winner on February 11th along with posting the links of all entries.
What will you get in return?
At the end of the competition I will post links to all the entries so everyone can enjoy your tips. Oh and not to mention it will probably get you more links from other bloggers if they like your tip.
In addition one lucky winner will get an 8GB USB Flash Drive (The A-Data JOGR pictured above). Yes you heard right 8gigs to stick in your pocket to take with you anywhere. Thats enough storage to store all your blogging tools and documents in one small portable drive, not to mention all your pictures, files, some videos and even programs.
