For most of the month I have either been sick with the Flu or been recovering from being sick. So as a result Success For Your Blog has suffered a bit. This bring me to the point of whether or not I should have stuck it out and put out articles that may or may not have been the best I could have written. There are only a couple reasons that people become regular readers of a blog, one is because it provides entertainment to the reader and another is that it educates. So if you have a writing schedule and people come to expect something on a regular schedule during down times you may suffer people leaving.
So do you keep your posting schedule no matter what or do you take the time off to be sick or off doing other things? I guess at the very least you should post an article letting people know of the changes.

I’ve dealt with this situation many times before! I suffer from regular tension headaches which sometimes become migraines. And of course, with a migraine, I can;t be looking at the light of a computer screen lest my head fall off from the pain. However, I’ve got a pretty faithful Mon-Sat posting schedule that I hate breaking. So on those days, I go thru my YouTube account and embed a bunch of my favorite videos into a post, and publish it.
It makes my readers happy, because they’re funny, and it makes me happy because I’ve actually posted something useful. (I write a blog about how to lead the kind of life that makes you smile, so this works for me!)
Perhaps you could keep a handful of ready-to-publish posts of resource lists and such so that in case you’re sick, you’ve got some articles ready for your readers and you can focus on getting better?
