Top list of recommended money makers for your Blog. Like most everything this list will continue to grow.
Google Adsense
Usually the first way bloggers choose to monetize their blog is by placing contextual ads on their pages. Google Adsense is a no brainer when it comes to contextual ads. Everyone is excepted into the program, it is easy to setup and implement, and payments are always on time. There are just some initial thresh holds you have to get over before you receive a check from Google. For example you must earn $100 through the program before you receive your first check.
Text Link Ads
Text Link ads has a couple products that help you sell text links on your site. These are the ads you see on the sidebar with a title like “Featured Sites” or Sponsors or something similar. Text Link Ads will sell a specified number of links spots on your site and place the ads for you automatically. You get a portion of the money and they get a portion of the money. The amount the ads are sold is based on several things like your pagerank, number of subscribers, number of links pointing at your site and so on. The bigger and more popular your site is the more you will make.

Auction Ads
Time for another money maker. This time we will cover Ebay’s Auction Ads. If you are familiar with Google’s Adsense ads then you will have no problem setting up Auction Ads.
Once you sign-up the Auction Ads web site has an intuitive interface to build ads for you site. The ads can be displayed in several different sizes and shapes to integrate nicely with your blog. The ads are not contextual like Adsense so you have control over what keywords to use. The one thing I don’t like that much is that when someone clicks on an ad they have to bid and successfully win the auction in order for you to get paid.
Amazon Affiliates
It was high time that I covered another money maker and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Amazon affiliates program has just added some very cool new features that I think will not only give you another source of revenue the ads even look nice on your blog.
Amazon Widgets - Amazon widgets let you configure customized widgets to stick on your blog or website. To the right is a recommended products widget in which I chose the books to display to my readers. When you mouse over the selections a box comes forward revealing a little more information about that product. There are currently about 16 widgets that you can configure and add. Some of the ones I really like are unbox video, Slideshow, My Favorites and Wish List.
Amazon affiliates has been around for a very long time, at least in web years and is one of the more respectable programs out there. Up until now I hadn’t been using the program much but with this new line of affiliate products you can bet you’ll see a lot more Amazon stuff on Success For Your Blog.
