Same here ! I have been supplying information for free for two years.
Now, I am broke.. seriously… so I went into the affiliate business.

So far, the first 3 weeks : $ 238 profit working sometimes 12 hours a day… let’s see..
I don’t give up !!

I think affiliate marketing is a great way to leverage profit for your blogging but should never be the key player. You are supplying information to the public. That is a great reward in itself.

When you focus primarily on this, and get it just right, you become an authority in your niche subject field.

And then you find the visitors beat a path to your blog door! So you should not then have difficulty converting readers to buyers.

But I still prefer to get readers to opt in to a subscribers list. Then they become prospects and I can freely mail out my affiliate offers to them. Until then, I supply free information!
