Any time Fred. Thanks for the great article. Your right. There is a reason we are taught to say thank you before. Its going back to the absolute fundamentals. More people should do this these days. :-)

I think showing appreciation, especially on the net is hugely important. As bloggers, it’s nice to support each other via comments on each others blogs, and showing appreciation in return.

Great article, but I have to disagree with you on your fifth point. The most annoying thing anyone can do is send me an e-mail if I’ve commented on their blog. If they’re a regular commenter, and you have something you really want them to read, then I think it’s okay.

Most importantly, you need to show appreciation, and I think the best way to do that is replying via the comments.

I agree that commenting on your readers’ blogs is another great way of showing your appreciation. If I could update this list, I would certainly put that on it.
