Foruming has been proved a great way of getting inspirations for contenyts and traffic.

What I am scared about these forums is that I will be over-participating. Over-participation will lead to time not wisely used which will be a bad of these addictive forums.

Not bad, but I think TalkFreelance.com should be in there as well, it’s a bit more professional than DP.

I don’t particularly like SP anymore because they’re always so uptight, but the SP marketplace is pretty much guaranteed to work every time, so it’s worth the $20 fee to sell a website.

    :)

Thanks for the links. I haven’t heard of most of these. In fact I haven’t really gotten into any forums yet. I’ll give a couple of them a go.

There are many other forums I check out regularly, but it’s kind of hard to write on each of them and provide some small bits of valuable content.

I try to focus on questions I know and I try to help as many people as possible. I realized that my image, my brand is the most important right now.

If I can do that and increase my branding and exposure, the rest will come (backlinks, traffic, etc.)

I had the most of these links in my Butterfly Organizer, but I added the missing ones from your list.

The scary thing is it’s actually true, and it goes to show you
how the internet really does make anything possible when you have
the right information, tools and mindset.
